Individual and Couples Therapy in English French and Greek
in Victoria and London Bridge
My name is Ari Sotiriou, and I can provide you with a friendly, calm confidential and professional environment in which to talk through your difficulties and work together towards a positive outcome.
Some of the things I may be able to help with:
Relationship issues - particularly when there is a pattern of things repeating
Feeling sad, lost and isolated
Struggling with a loss or bereavement
Difficulties with self-confidence and self-esteem
Having difficulty adjusting to life changes
Struggling to contain anger or tears
I offer individual and couples therapy in central London and online in English, in Greek and French.
I also supervise the clinical work of individual psychodynamic and integrative therapists.
I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist.
I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the leading training centres for psychotherapists in the country.
I practice time limited and open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy:
Time-limited therapy of 12 sessions, where we agree on a specific goal for what we need to work on the outset.
Open-ended, is a comprehensive work which allows a deeper exploration of one's difficulties. We will agree to end therapy at some point during treatment.
Both modes of treatment involve setting a regular date and time and meeting weekly for 50 minutes at the time agreed. The relationship that will develop between us during these sessions is the core of psychodynamic psychotherapy, and it might take a few sessions for this relationship to emerge.
Both modes of treatment can be face to face in central London or online via video link.
My consultation rooms are in central London conveniently located near Victoria Station and London Bridge Station. I chose these locations having in mind people who need to fit therapy into a busy professional life, for example, during a lunch break or after work in the evening.
